Mozzarella Ubud stands as a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Ubud, Bali, along the vibrant Jl. Monkey Forest. This cozy pizza restaurant perfectly encapsulates the charm of Italian cuisine with a laid-back, trendy atmosphere that resonates with both tourists and locals alike. Its strategic location offers a dynamic view of the bustling street, providing patrons a front-row seat to the rhythmic dance of daily life in Ubud.
From the moment you step inside, the ambiance strikes a balance between casual and inviting. Despite its small size, the atmosphere buzzes with the laughter of friends gathering for a quick bite or tourists savoring a hearty meal after a long day of exploring. The seating arrangements may be close-knit, but they foster a warmth that feels more like visiting a friend's home than dining out.
What truly sets Mozzarella Ubud apart is its exceptional value. Customers have raved about the delicious food served at remarkably affordable prices. For instance, Philip Taylor notes how the pizzas hold their own against pricier establishments, emphasizing the quality and taste that leaves diners returning for more. Pizza lovers and pasta enthusiasts alike will find joy in the flavorful offerings, although be mindful that pasta portions tend to be a bit smaller than average.
Staff at Mozzarella Ubud are known for their friendly service, eager to assist and ensure a pleasant dining experience, even when the restaurant sees a surge in patrons. As noted by Rob McCallum, even if you arrive close to closing time, the staff are more than willing to serve you with a smile, never rushing you, creating an environment that welcomes relaxation.
While there are a few drawbacks, such as the lack of wheelchair accessibility and a slight surcharge for credit card payments, these are minimal compared to the overall experience. If you find yourself in Ubud desiring authentic Italian cuisine that won’t break the bank, then look no further than Mozzarella Ubud. This little slice of Italy is a must-visit, offering not only good food but also a cozy corner to escape and enjoy the vibrant essence that Ubud has to offer.

Apr 8,2025Small but cozy space with a nice atmosphere and seating to look out down to the bustling street. Staff are really friendly and food is cooked in the same room. The food itself is very good considering how low the price is. If Im craving italian, but dont want to spend loads, I come here.

Apr 6,2025Arrived right before closing, with no other people there after a long day of travel. Were more than happy to stay open and didnt rush us. Food was tasty, prices were reasonable and was a good place to watch the world go by. During peak hours no doubt would be a great place to eat.

Feb 1,2025A small establishment in the centre of Ubud. It usually crowded here. But the good part is that the service is amazing and you wont be waiting too long for your food. Would rate the pizza a solid 4. Do try the tiramisu.
